Daniel Beretta, known as the French voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger, has died at the age of 77. His friend Jean-Luc Reichmann paid tribute to him with a touching obituary on Instagram.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has lost his French voice. The actor, known for films such as “Double Impact” (1988), “Total Recall” (1990), “Last Action Hero” (1993), “True Lies” (1994), the “Terminator” saga (1984) and “The Expendables” (2010), had his voice dubbed by Daniel Beretta. The 77-year-old died earlier this week in Ajaccio, Corsica. His death comes just weeks after that of Alain Dorval, who lent his French voice to Sylvester Stallone. His friend Michel Vigné announced the sad news on Facebook: “Friend, brother, pal… Goodbye Daniel, I send you my love.”
Daniel Beretta was also a voice actor on the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
