INGREDIENTS:
3 cups dill pickle, sliced
½ cup chicken broth
1 whole egg, beaten
1 cup all-purpose flour
Pinch of black pepper
Salt, to taste
Oil for frying
HOW TO MAKE FRIED PICKLES:
Step 1. Heat 3” of oil in a deep-sided skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 2. In the meantime, add beaten egg, salt, chicken broth, flour, and pepper in a bowl. Whisk the mixture until consistent.
Step 3. Drain and pat dry pickle slices using a paper towel.
Step 4. Dip each pickle slice into the batter.
Step 5.Carefully lower the coated pickles into the heated oil and fry until both sides turn golden brown.
Step 6. Remove the pickles from the oil and place on the paper towel to drain excess oil.
Step 7. Then, arrange them around a bowl of your favorite dipping sauce and serve.
