1 fresh lemon
1-inch piece fresh ginger root
1–2 teaspoons raw honey
1–2 cups warm (not boiling) water
Preparation:
Wash lemon and ginger thoroughly.
Slice lemon (peel on or off as preferred).
Peel and grate or thinly slice ginger.
Add to a mug or jar.
Pour warm water over ingredients.
Steep 10–15 minutes.
Stir in honey once water cools slightly.
Strain if desired.
Drink once daily or a few times per week as part of a balanced routine.
