Tips for Success
Choose firm apples so they hold their shape أثناء الطهي
Don’t overcrowd the dish—space helps even baking
Baste the apples once or twice أثناء الطهي for extra flavor
Use apple cider instead of water for richer taste
Cover loosely with foil if they brown too quickly
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place a clean, oven-safe glass baking dish (about 8×8-inch or similar) on the counter so it’s ready.
Rinse the apples under cool running water and dry them well with a clean towel. Leave them whole and unpeeled—no coring or slicing needed. Remove long or woody stems if necessary.
Set the whole apples into the glass baking dish in a single layer so they’re standing upright.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and water until it forms a thin syrup.
Slowly pour the syrup over the apples, drizzling some on top. The rest will collect at the bottom of the dish.
Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the apples are tender when pierced with a fork.
Spoon the sauce over the apples before serving.
Description
The apples become soft and tender, almost melting inside, while the skins hold everything together. The syrup thickens into a glossy, cinnamon-infused sauce that coats each apple beautifully. The aroma is warm, sweet, and inviting.
