The shape and color looked strange enough to make me hesitate, and I couldn’t tell if it was harmless or something I shouldn’t touch. I stayed a few steps back, just watching it carefully, almost as if it might move if I got too close.
The garden suddenly didn’t feel quite as peaceful as it had a few minutes earlier.

I slowly stepped closer and leaned in for a better look. The object had a soft, almost jelly-like texture, with unusual shapes emerging from it. It looked so unfamiliar that I honestly had no idea what I was looking at.
Was it some kind of plant?
A fungus?
Something left behind by an animal?
The more I stared at it, the more confused I became.
