American researchers compared the diets of several thousand participants. They found that people who regularly eat eggs scored higher on memory tests. These results suggest a direct link between egg consumption and slower cognitive decline.
Proteins and vitamins found in eggs, such as B12 and D, play an equally valuable role. Together, these nutrients nourish the brain and improve its resistance to degenerative damage.

Moderate but regular consumption
To benefit from these protective effects, experts recommend moderate consumption. There is no need to overdo it: two to four eggs a week are enough as part of a balanced diet.
