This image, taken in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, in 1943, has sparked mixed reactions around the world, eliciting a bizarre reaction to say the least.

Several theories have emerged suggesting that time travel may not be such a far-fetched possibility. The photograph, originally shared by Kristjan Hoffmann in a Facebook group called Gamlar ljósmyndir in 2016, shows a man in an unusual pose for the time: leaning against a window, relaxed, and apparently talking on a telephone, an object that did not exist at the time.

The most striking aspect of this photograph is that the man is not wearing a military uniform, which was unusual for that time and place, considering it was a wartime event and that US troops were present in the area.
